Situation is calm in Alexandra township after looting of foreigned shops on Tuesday 3 September. On Monday night shops owned by foreigners in the township were ransacked by a group of community members who their identity is unknown. Among shops that were ransacked is Freedom Supermarket. Speaking on Alex FM breakfast show Captain Stephen Malatji said 12 people were arrested for the crime.
