24 August marked the return of kids to school, all grades have been phased in after 5 months break because of the coronavirus.
Many learners will be attending once, twice a week because of the government’s risk adjusted strategy to observe the social distancing and having less than 50 pupils in one class.
In all the Alexandra schools pupils were seen in the que, observing social distancing whilst waiting for their turn to be hand sanitized and have their temperature checked before they could head to their respective classes.
Parents have been pleased with the procedure and want what is best for their kids which is education. One parent at a Primary said she’s happy for the child to return to school long as they will safe.
