Run for an awareness



A selfless former Telkom technician is using his retirement time to raise funds and awareness for one of the world’s rare illnesses, psoriasis. It’s a condition in which skin cells build up and form scales and itchy dry patches. An estimated 1million South Africans suffer from psoriasis.

Psoriasis represents a significant public health challenge affecting an estimated 125milloin people suffering from the disease globally. It is prevalent within the adult population.
Psoriasis is thought to be an immune system problem.

Mr Ambrose Klassen will this Sunday celebrate his 60th birthday by taking to the streets to run a 60km marathon from Sandton to Enerdale. He will be joined by friends and marathon runners along the way. They will start in Sandton, running pass the JHB .Sun City Prison in Naturena, where more friends and runners will be joining in the race. The runners will run through Eldorado Park. The marathon is expects to be done by 10h30 -11h00 in Ennerdale.
