Capital Land Asset Management (“Capital Land”) acts for and on behalf of our client, the Futuregrowth Community Property Composite, the registered owner of Alexandra Plaza.
Alexandra Plaza is committed to education and community upliftment in Alexandra and is actively involved in the community and nearby schools. As reported by eNCA.com over the weekend, “at least 20 people are homeless” after a fire destroyed a few shacks in the Alexandra informal settlement.
Alexandra Plaza identified the need to assist the families who were affected by the devastating fire which occurred in the township on the 17 April 2020. On behalf of Alexandra Plaza, a donation of blankets was made to the families in need on Tuesday, 21 April 2020.
Alexandra Plaza Centre Manager, Sizwe Mngomezulu, facilitated the handover to the recipients. Also in attendance to support the initiative was the South African Police Services, the Democratic Alliance’s Ward Councillor, community leaders and the local media.
